3 Most Ignored But Proven Strategies to Attract More Traffic Into Your Website.

Proven ways to attract website traffic.

Apparently many bloggers out there, - including those who have stayed in the industry for quite some time, but especially those who are new and are just starting up, - dedicate most of their time in churning out or producing blog-post-after-blog-post almost thrice or twice a week.

Sometimes they even publish content almost every single day into their website(s) hoping that site visitors and the world as a whole will access and read those posts, but despite all their efforts still nothing comes out of it that can impress anyone else.

I know you might also be going through that same experience and despite all that, - with all the quality contents that you create - traffic flow into your website/blog is almost nothing or none at all in most cases.

That can be frustrating alot even if you try all other efforts to atleast start receiving more visitors or reasonable traffic, but still nothing happens. You're there wondering what is going on, or what have you not done right.

You are almost losing hope and now you think of giving up this whole blog writing thing up altogether, because the amount of traffic your website receives on a daily basis is very very minimal, sometimes its even zero page views.

Is that true for your case...?

Well. If so, then how do you ensure that your target audience access your blog posts and read them as you intended?

Ways to Attract More Web Traffic.

The simple and plain answer to this question - what are the ways to attract more traffic into my website or blog? whether it will be through paid or organic traffic sources is strategy. So whichever method or strategy it is that you use to attract traffic will also count here.

But how do you get traffic if whichever technique(s) you use in attracting audiences into your blog brings in low numbers or terribly fails to deliver traffic as per your expectations altogether.

Don't worry much, I have also gone through that kind of pain, that whenever I wrote a new post I will do my best to ensure that I gain more visitors into my website(s) in form of traffic but unfortunately it didn't happen that way most of the time, until I tried and found out what I have written in this post. In other words it was difficult for me to get my target audience to read those fresh posts that I create every now and then. And that might also include trouble boosting this post that you are currently reading if I also don't strictly follow the strategies below.

So what's the trick in it and how do you unlock that puzzle of traffic flow stagnation for your website?

The answer is in the following 3 strategies.

Strategy #1. Do Blog Posts Rotation.

Coming up with and implementing a blog post cycle or rotation campaign strategy is a very productive approach to marketing, that if you fully implement it well then it will attract and ensure you get a constant flow of traffic into your website.

Rotation here means posting and reposting of the same blog content(s) that you have just created or had published earlier on the social media channels like on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Reddit, Quora, Medium etc on a periodic schedule.

So come up with a scheduled post rotation plan to repost your blog content(s) on such social media platforms. You can use post schedulers like Hootsuite which has most social media platforms that I have talked about above integrated in it (which means you can post a single article on upto 10 or so social media platforms at a go.

You can plan a posting schedule that fits your time preference depending on different social platform's popularity based on its time accessibility. Whether during the day or night.

Pro Tip:  You can decide to promote your blog post(s) after an interval of every 1 - 2 weeks, where you repost it on all different social media platforms. But again you need to use different teaser captions when marketing the same post. Don't use the same caption repeatedly and don't repost on the same social media group within a short time. It will appear as if you are spamming those social media channels that you are using and at the same it will appear boring or unappealing to regular visitors of a particular platform that you target. NB: You will also be banned.

So E-mail, newsletters, advert captions etc all must use different writing style so that you don't make it appear too monotonous and boring across all social platforms.

Strategy #2. Update Your Outdated Blog Posts.

Making predetermined updates to outdated posts is a very important and key strategy that if you plan and execute well then it will drive consistent flow of traffic into your website. What this means is that if you have a number of posts that you had published earlier on that appear outdated, maybe had been published in the past 6, 12months or even more than 2yrs ago, you can revert that post back to drafts in your post editor. Then do some more research around that post's topic and then refreshen it with more informative information.

You don't need to just leave those old posts stay there hoping that they will still continue bringing in traffic without you updating them with more important information and republishing again.

Pro Tip: Rotate the updated old posts through all channels that are available for you once again, after you have updated all of them. Repeat the process by following the post promotion campaign schedule.

Strategy #3. Make Use of Social Media Forums/Groups.

A social media forum or group is an organized online social platform(s) within which a particular group of people with the same ideas or common interest converge online and use it to solve their challenges and/or find solutions.

Examples of social forums/groups are Facebook groups, Twitter, Quora forums, Reddit/sub-reddits, Medium sub-groups etc, where you can register to become a member then contribute by helping others by way of answering their questions, either through the forum's main wall or on the sub-forum's wall. But that is based on various topics of discussion depending on your expertise. You can also get to learn from the forum(s) by asking questions and you too can get answers/solutions for your own problems.

If you know the right forums, the right time to promote your posts, then you are on the right path to targeted constant web traffic.

These social media platforms are great sources where you can get a good number of continuous flow of traffic into your website if you know the right forums and sub-forums to target. So find whichever social forum/group that meets your needs and matches your niche then join.

The best strategy here is to put more campaign efforts on forums that you are already a registered member and you follow their rules where applicable or necessary. You don't want to spam forums that you are not welcome. But most importantly select forums that are niche-and-topic-based, and relevant for the posts that you target to promote.

Pro Tip: Before you start promoting your posts there on the forum(s), it is important to take some time by first helping other members solve their own problems. And take some time too to learn more about the forum. That way you will be seen as an expert in your industry and with time you will be able to boost your authority as a trusted industry player that can be relied on.

Don't just go straight away and start marketing directly, lest you get banned. But if you must promote your content then include a link to your particular post that answers a question about your post topic(s).

Conclusion.

One of the factors or determinants of a website's success is the amount of traffic it can attract within a stipulated time schedule. So the more it attracts and attains a consistent number of visitors the better. But most webmasters ignore the fact that the same success can only be counted or given credit to certain particular strategies if planned and executed consistently, but in a consolidated manner.

If you need to gain more traffic into your site then it means you have to come up with and implement strategies that will work best for your website. That may consist of several techniques, methods or strategies. So promotion your blog posts through the above 3 strategies.

Don't ignore them too.
